EDITOR'S NOTE
************************

GulfWire Digest is back after a one-week hiatus during which we were
traveling in Saudi Arabia.  This issue covers the complete "news-cycle"
since we published the Digest two weeks ago -- so you won't miss a thing.

We wish to thank everyone in the Kingdom who helped make our visits to
Riyadh, the Eastern Province and Jeddah so successful.  We welcome the new
GulfWire readers we've added as a result of our meetings.  We look forward
to sharing the results of our travel -- the interviews, meetings and
observations -- in upcoming editions of GulfWire Perspectives and elsewhere.
